Put Some Thought Into It

After much prodding, mostly with sticks, I have decided to start this blog. I am apprehensive, because I don’t know what to say. On the commute home, I decided to put some thought into it…

Put some thought into it, like it’s an ingredient in a cookie recipe.
2-1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
pinch salt
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. cerebral extract
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Now don’t hold me to this recipe. I was trying to remember it off the top of my head, and it may be incorrect. But if it’s the thought that counts, will the cookies still be as good? Even if the rest of the recipe is wrong? Like the time I mixed up baking soda and baking powder. If I had put more thought into it, they would have tasted better.

I guess it’s the thought that counts.

Baking soda and baking powder got mixed up in our gingersnaps one time. Four times in a row, actually. It was funny when we figured out what the deal was. Gingersnaps should not be fluffy.
